Swedish massage is the most well-known massage. The techniques used in this massage will allow the body to feel rested and relaxed. Therapeutic / Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage interacts the most with the body’s muscle and muscle groups. The therapist will address Trigger Points, particular discomforts and specific areas that needs work, with direct pressure. After a Deep Tissue Massage, tired sore muscles often become energized, relaxed and revived. Make note that after the treatment the body often feels like it had an intense workout, due to the lactic acid release. Increasing in your water intake is highly recommended.

It is proven to be effective to treating the following conditions: Migraine headaches, rheumatoid arthritis, sinus congestion, abdominal bloating, and edema (swelling). It also helps to promote the healing of torn ligaments, fractures, lesions and sprain pain. This type of massage is a light, yet very relaxing with little or no discomfort.
Pre Natal Massage
This massage is tailored specifically to the needs of pregnant women. The benefits are relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, stress related weight bearing joints, improve mobility and circulation, relaxation, decrease insomnia, neck and back pain relief, assistance in maintaining proper posture and preparing muscles that are to be used during child birth. Reduce swelling in hands and feet, headache and sinus congestion relief, lessened sciatic pain and fewer calf cramps.
Post Natal Massage
This massage can help decrease the discomforts of after birth and help relax and feel cared for during the intense time of mothering journey.
Hot Stone Massage
The Massage therapist uses heated basalt stones. They are a flat, smooth, black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. The stones are heated to 120- 150 degrees and then they are placed on certain parts of the body. The therapist will also use the stones as an aid for the massage. The heat from the stones warms and relaxes the muscles, which will allow the therapist to apply deeper pressure if desired. The warmth from the stones helps to calm the nervous system and improve circulation and decrease stress. The hot stone massage can help relieve pain, promote harmony and balance within the body. It’s the perfect treatment anytime, but highly effective for those cold, wet, damp days.
Reiki is a form of holistic healing that channels positive energy to help rebalance the body’s fundamental energy. The treatment eliminates energy blockages, detoxifies the system, and causes deep relaxation. The therapist just places their hands above the client and energy gets channelized to the body.
